The Spine Fellowship program began in 2008. The first fellow was Dr. Chaiwat Piyaskulkaew, the current chief of the spine unit at the Institute of Orthopedics, Lerdsin Hospital. The spine fellowship program is for 1 year. Our spine fellows will have the opportunity to handle many patients and gain experience in a comprehensive spectrum of spinal disorders using non-operative and operative interventions. Fellows will have progressive responsibilities, including assisting in surgery, teaching residents, and serving as the first surgeon as their skill level matures. The fellow will be expected to develop and complete their own research project by the end of the fellowship. To apply for the fellowship program, please visit www.ortholerdsin.com and follow the instructions for registration.
