The Metabolic Bone Disorders and Orthogeriatric Unit, Institute of Orthopedics, Lerdsin Hospital provides care and treatment for patients who are suffering from disease effects to bone and muscle quality that has a metabolic disorder in origin such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia, sarcopenia. We use advanced knowledge and technology with holistic to improve our patient outcomes. We know the importance of bones, joints and muscles strengths are necessary for living in all ages not only in the elderly. In addition to treating patients with metabolic bone, joint and muscle disease, the Bone Metabolic Disorders and Orthogeriatric Unit also places importance on screening and prevention to improve quality of life of the population which is the cornerstone of the country. By cooperation with important organizations both nationally and abroad. We We are involved in the development of public health service system, transfer knowledge to the public and medical personnel at national and international levels. Including the mission of teaching medical students and residents of the Institute of Orthopedic Surgery, to provide appropriate knowledge for the treatment of underlying diseases of bone metabolism in the elderly.
